Tokyo Day 1

Hello! It is the third week since I am back from Tokyo and I am still missing it everyday. Like really badly. So I thought to myself I better pen down my memories and remember this trip forever!

When j and i decided to travel to Tokyo, I started to hunt around for the most economical tickets. At the same time i wouldn't want to make myself suffer during the 7 hour flight too. Travelling should be fun right?! After much comparision, we decided to go with Delta Airlines which i totally have zero regrets of! Such an enjoyable flight..to a point that i like it better than SQ! Food was not bad and the movies, so many to choose from! Spoiled from choices. To me, these two factors completely sold me. (:

To travel around tokyo for 7 days 6 nights, we decided to get the tourist package which was the NEX plus SUICA card. NEX is the express train to travel from airport to the city and SUICA allows you to travel on any JR line. You just have to top up when there is insufficient value. Just like your everyday ezlink card. If you were to use the other lines, you can purchase the tickets seperately.

Chicken katsu sandwich with sour plum sauce. Taste like the ones from ION's Ginza Bairin..

Upon reaching Shibuya station where our hotel was, we tried to orientate ourselves and managed to exit from the right exit and somehow got onto the right direction! haha. Credits to josh (: We stayed in Sakura Fleur Ayoyama Hotel which was a decent stay. Just that, they have a centralised air-con and you can only increase the temperature. I understand that its cold outside but the room was totally stuffy at night! We had to wait for the cold outside to cool our room which took like forever?? Usually we just fell asleep like in a sauna room. The next time i return to Tokyo, I will choose another hotel for sure. Sweating to sleep is so uncool.

More like 28 deg???

So the first night was just roaming around Shibuya streets and eating. :D

Their convenience stores are so loved by us!

The ramen that denied the fact that all ramen in Japan are good x|

And of cos, eating ice cream crepe in the cold! lol it was freezing that night but the melon crepe was really yummy too!

So, that was pretty much our first night in Tokyo and what I didn't know was that after 7 days, I would be completely in love with Tokyo <3

Anyway, here's a picture i took of the Shibuya scramble crossing on  my second last day. Major failure in capturing the best moment as the road was so busy that i just can't take a picture being stationary. Everyone was rushing passed like mad...

Gonna organize the pics and there will be more exciting Tokyo days to come! Like what joshua mentioned on facebook, him and his Otaku pilgrimage(:
