Tokyo day 4

Hello! I'm here to reminisce my days in Tokyo! :D Here are the pics where we went to J world and Namja Town at Ikebukuro. It was really exciting to meet our childhood anime characters and being able to take photos with them upfront!

FOOD!!!!

When we took our cameras, he just posed for us to take photos! How professional! Really friendly too (:

LUFFY! you see the mister is soooo happy..he doesn't even smile that widely when he is taking pic with me ><

When Dragonball saw the Ruyi bang on our table, he immediately turned and pointed at it dramatically and of cos we have to capture the moment!

Finally our first neoprint together and its in Japan! How original lol I always wanted to take neoprints with Josh but always no such chance in SG. If i dont remember wrongly, they are equally expensive as in SG.

There's perfromance to watch too!

And we went to Namja town for more food! Didn't take photos of the cats

wahahahaha..definitely cheered me up quite abit o.o The gyoza tasted not bad..to me all gyoza tastes almost the same. Sorry..not really a fan of gyoza!

Personally i reckon it is not worth going unless you really love your gyoza. Really nothing  much to see.
Namja Town at Sunshine city

When we were walking back to the station or somewhere..haha i really forgot. We chance upon this XLarge takoyaki..

How can we not buy right!  Even though its not like omg yummy but we should totally bring this in to Singapore la! Just one ball enough to replace a meal. I believe the calories does too haha..

i think this is it for Sunshine city. There are more photos on Josh's FB but i just "kope" a few that are the highlights of the trip. I think for such theme parks you have to be there personally to enjoy and soak in the atmosphere. Pictures can only speak these much, experience is what you should get. That explains my few scattered words in today's post :D

More pics coming up for our days in DisneySea and Odaiba!

Tokyo day 3!

Bello! Back with Tokyo day 3. If i don't remember wrongly, we went to Asakusa temple which we picked over the Meji Shrine. My friend, Lydia went to both and recommended Asakusa as it was more lively with more things to see and she was right!

A lot of stores to see and stuff to buy home for your family and friends. As you can see, a lot of people too.

The main entrance.

The place where you pay 100 yen to draw a lot.

The water fountain where you rinsed your mouth and wash hands. You just have to observe and follow. After rinsing your mouth, don't spit into the wrong place hor! Otherwise god knows what kind of water is being recycled...EW.

As compared to the other toilets i have seen, this was one of the dirtiest. As this is a tourist spot, there were a lot of other people coming from other countries. Or should i say that ONE country with the most "unique" culture. They like to make themselves at home and destroy the cleanliness of the toilet. Enough said. I hope you know who I am referring to :D

Anyway, there were two rows of street foods right outside the temple!

After feeding ourselves, we went to find the Tokyo Tower!

Even the roadside flowers were pretty. What is this! Love Tokyo.

We were so confident at where we were going, thinking that we were in the right direction until J turned around and went like omg, the Tokyo Tower is at the other end where we came from. Wonderful.

Spotted a temple right before the Tower.

The view from up there! We only went for the main observatory level as we realised there was not much to see and everything was grey. Maybe we expected too much and it was sooo crowded with tourist groups. Quite turn off actually. Spent the money and only stayed there for like 15 mins? What a waste.

Before we took the train to Harajuku, we saw a signage that stated POKEMON store located just few meters away and of cos, the Mister had to go.

So, we headed back to Harajuku again as J insisted to see the Sakura at the Yoyogi Park. I was thinking since when he was this interested to see the bloom as he was not that into it before we went on the trip. Also, I was rather tired after the whole day and really wanted to just go back to Shibuya but since he insisted we went ahead. But my my..I was glad that i went! I love the vibe at the park! Maybe its the weather, maybe its the crowd..It was just so right. I feel so relaxed by just taking in the view and watching the people having picnics, throwing frisbee, walking the dogs..etc.

You know what? I thought the Sakura trees had bloomed and withered. Wtf. I was so disappointed when i couldn't find any Sakura at first sight! I'm like where are the gorgeous sea of pink??!!!! Apparently I am ignorant and didn't know that only a few had bloomed. It was still too early for the full bloom.

So here are the few blooming trees lol

At least we got to see some sakura right..I mean we went all the way to Tokyo! If not we will be a joke..go during Sakura period and see no Sakura? -.-

After resting at the bench, J said "Let's walk back to the sakura tree." In my heart i was like "this guy really like his sakura hor.." And when we reached under the tree...

He took out THE box. With a ring inside :D AHHHHH!
J: "Nah. You said you want flowers right (pointing to the Sakura) and here's the ring!"
I was laughing by then and i asked if he was going to kneel down and he said of cos.
And so, he proposed under the only Sakura tree that blossomed in the Yoyogi Park (:

We actually didn't take pics together after he proposed. lol..i think both of us were too overwhelmed to picture the moment. But we did took pics before the whole event..haha. what a weird couple.

I remembered feeling so shy wearing the ring and was so not used to it. Definitely caught off guarded by this man! He told me that he kept the box in his pocket the whole day and his initial plan was to propose at the Tokyo tower but the ambiance was just not right (nosiy tourist groups and greygrey scenery).
Thank you for making it special <3

We held hands and walked through the park to go back. The sky was darkening and the air was cold but i was holding the warmest hand with the warmest smile on my face. A day to remember forever.

Next, Tokyo day 4 coming up!
